A lot of people are suffering from warts, skin tags, blackheads, and other skin blemishes. Although oftentimes these problems do not really hurt them, many of those who are suffering from these skin issues want to get rid of these, anyway.
But getting rid of warts, skin tags, and other skin issues can be quite expensive! Laser treatments are the usual route in removing these skin blemishes – but did you know that nature also offers you with cheap but effective options?
Check out these effective natural treatments that you can easily find at home – or buy for a cheap price from the grocery store!
Apple Cider Vinegar
-One of the most effective treatment options for warts and skin tags, apple cider vinegar is also easy to use. Wash the affected area with soap and water; pat dry. Soak a small piece of cotton ball with apple cider vinegar and put on top of the affected area/s. Cover with a piece of adhesive bandage or even just duct tape.
Leave on for a few hours – you can do this before bedtime, if you like, so that you can easily wash the stuff off in the morning without it interfering with your activities (and outfits!) for the day.
Pure Honey
Honey has a high concentration of antibacterial properties that make it an effective treatment option for the removal of these pesky issues. To use this treatment option, simply cover the warts or skin tags with a thick layer of honey and cover with duct tape or wrap with a piece of cloth. Reapply the honey daily until you skin looks better.
Banana Peel
Just as the previously mentioned treatment options, you can put a banana peel on your skin blemishes (the inside part should be the one covering the affected areas) and keep in place using duct tape or a piece of cloth.
For best results, you can also rub the affected area with banana peel before putting in a fresh piece for bandaging.
Garlic
With garlic having great antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties, it is no wonder that this can be used to help you get rid of skin problems. To use this option, simply crush/mash a clove of garlic and apply on the affected area. Again, cover with a piece of duct tape and leave on overnight. Repeat until the warts are gone.
Duct Tape
If you think duct tape is just for keeping those natural treatment options in place, you thought wrong… Because if you do not have these other stuff handy at home, you can still get rid of skin tags and warts by covering them with duct tape and leave it on. Replace the tape as needed.
After 6 days, remove the duct tape and wash the affected area with water; rub the warts and skin tags with pumice stone. If these do not easily come off yet, repeat the cycle for another 6 days. Repeat again until the warts and skin tags are gone.
