Ayon kay Benjie, natural daw ito sa bawat pamilya. Habang lumalaki ang mga anak, nagiging abala na sila sa kanilang trabaho, relasyon, o personal na layunin at hindi na tulad ng dati na lahat ng oras ay para sa magulang.

“Darating talaga ‘yung panahon na may kanya-kanya na silang mundo. Hindi na kagaya dati na bawat galaw nila, kasama ka. Masakit tanggapin pero ganyan talaga ang buhay,” ani Benjie Paras.

Dagdag pa ni Benjie, isa ito sa mga pinakamahirap na leksyon ng pagiging magulang ang matutong magpaubaya at magtiwala na kaya na ng mga anak tumayo sa sarili nilang mga paa.

“Noon, ako ‘yung takbuhan nila sa lahat ng bagay. Ngayon, minsan hindi na ako updated sa mga plano nila. Pero naiintindihan ko kasi ganun din naman tayo nung bata pa tayo,” dagdag pa niya.

Ayon kay Benjie, hindi dapat masamain ng mga magulang ang ganitong pagbabago. Sa halip, ito raw ay senyales na maayos nilang napalaki ang kanilang mga anak sapat para maging independent at may sariling desisyon sa buhay.

Maraming netizens ang naka-relate sa mensahe ni Benjie, lalo na ang mga magulang na unti-unti nang nasasanay sa “empty nest” phase ang panahong umaalis na ang mga anak sa bahay upang bumuo ng sarili nilang buhay.

“Hindi mo mapipigilan ang oras. Kaya habang bata pa sila, yakapin mo, kausapin mo, at iparamdam mong mahal mo sila. Kasi darating ang araw na bihira mo na silang makita, pero ang pagmamahal mo, dala-dala nila kahit saan sila magpunta,” ani Benjie sa isang panayam.

Ang mensahe ni Benjie Paras ay isang malalim at totoo na paalala sa lahat ng magulang na ang oras ay hindi maibabalik, at bahagi ng pagmamahal ay ang pagtanggap ng pagbabago.

The rider who was believed to be the cause of a Moto vlogger’s demise last weekend was now being investigated by the authorities.

According to the reports, the rider, who was captured doing a dangerous stunt along Marilaque Highway in Rizal, was now in the hospital and receiving medical treatment for mild injuries.

Members of Rizal PNP also visited the rider as part of their investigation.

The rider may face multiple charges, which include reckless imprudence resulting in homicide, damage to property, and physical injuries.

Arguelles left his 3-year-old child fatherless.

Marilaque was considered one of the most dangerous highways in the Philippines but also one of the most visited by motorcycle riders who wanted to challenge themselves in traversing sharp curves.

As of writing, the Rizal Provincial Government has yet to give their comment on how they would ensure that the incident will not happen again.

Maris Racal, a well-known female celebrity, has just been dropped as an ambassador of the brand, DAZZLE ME Philippines, in an official statement.

On Thursday, December 5, DAZZLE ME took to their Instagram, @dazzleme_ph, to release an official statement about ending their partnership.

The statement was posted amid Maris being entangled with recent controversies and allegations.

"At Dazzle Me, we have always been about inclusivity, authenticity, and making the right choices even when they're tough or uncomfortable," they began.

The brand then continued that after much thoughtful consideration, they had made the difficult decision to end the partnership with the Kapamilya star.

"After thoughtful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to end our partnership with Maris Racal. Working with her has been an amazing journey—her energy, humor, and authenticity resonated deeply with our vision of a bold and inspiring Gen Z icon. However, we determing that moving in a different direction is necessary to remain consistent with the principles that guide our brand," Dazzle Me said in an official statement online.

Earlier, in September of this year, Dazzle Me announced Maris as its first-ever brand ambassador.
