Ben and Sandra started their budding relationship back in May 2016 when they were just 14 and 15 years old respectively. Two months into their relationship, Ben fainted and was immediately rushed to the hospital. What they thought was a simple fainting case turned out to be so much worse.

After the examination came back, they were devastated to discover that Ben is suffering from Hypoxemic Ischemic Encephalopathy. This condition happens when the brain is deprived of oxygen.

For many months, the medical condition slowly eased the life out of Ben. Now, he lost his ability to speak and lost control of his mobility. Even though he’s slowly withering from his brain injury, Ben’s teenage girlfriend proved that her love for him will never wither.

Everyday after school, the teenage girlfriend goes straight to the hospital to take care of her sick boyfriend. She patiently dedicates time and effort with the hope that someday, her beloved will be cured from his sickness.
